Resident Spotlight

Here at Veranda Gardens, it’s important to us to turn the spotlight onto the amazing residents that we get to work with every day. Getting to know each and every one of them is such an honor. They always have interesting stories to share and wisdom to pass down.

With that being said, we'd like to introduce Roarie Golder, also known as “Chi Chi," one of our wonderful residents here at Veranda Gardens. Roarie was born and raised here in Cincinnati and attended and graduated from Woodward High School. She does not have any children but has three nieces and one nephew that are dear to her.



Roarie has been a resident here since April of 2021. Since her time at our skilled nursing facility, Roarie says she has been very pleased with the care she’s received. She also says that she likes her fellow residents and the staff. Roarie is very social and is always in the hallways with a smile on her face, interacting with everyone who passes by. When asked what she likes about living at Veranda Gardens, Roarie shared, “Veranda Gardens is a nice place to live, and the staff is very good.”
